Interesting topic. I like the story of couple who met through telegraph. I’m curious about how the relationship differs with different dating service. Good to know your research topic. Thanks!!

Great job Matt! It was interesting and you were very engaging as a presenter. I liked how you wrapped communication theory into your online dating research. The slides also worked really well with what you were discussing.

Hi Matt,
What an interesting topic! I really enjoyed the way you presented and how you interacted with your audiences. The picture that the first couple who met online was really funny! Also I especially liked the thought how 1337 affected the online relationship with and your vivid imagination of the future online dating. Thanks!

You did a lot of things really well in your presentation. You certainly dressed the part. I liked how you used the dating over the telegraph as an early example, but your broke up the story with some info between saying people used the telegraph to date, and when you told the story of the old couple who were telegraph operators. I would have done it all as a single story.
Using Paolo as an example was the right way to end the presentation… put a face on it and gave something for people to believe in especially since online dating seems to be the future.

Great dating night! It is amazing how many people meet through the internet. It is easier to share your feeling, to be more sincere in a way. In addition, with the way we all live now, always working and on the move it’s hard to date in the old fashion way! I met my husband through the telephone and even though it was weird at the beginning, I must confess that it took the pressure away from dating in person and 10 years of marriage later, I love him more than the first time I heard his voice!
Great presentation!
